TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Since I graduated I have combined relief and support teaching with raising a young daughter on my own. I have also returned to uni and completed a Fine Arts degree. In 2014 I was teaching grade 1/2 and have been relief teaching the past few years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in child centred teaching which allows for lots of play even if mess is the result. At the same time I believe in inspiring and pushing children to achieve the best that they can academically. I believe all children can succeed if given the right care. The demands on teachers are such that any help you can get frees you to spend the maximum time on teaching. I have always wanted to create my own personal teaching resources which cover all subject areas and provide ways for teachers to engage their students and simplify their planning at the same time. I believe that the maximum academic progress can be made by pushing boundaries and challenging students to enjoy the world around them.
