Taught various levels, from 2 year old toddlers through to 85 year old pensioners and everyone in between. Various teaching roles in primary and high schools, as well as in adult education, mostly teaching French and Music, but also venturing out into Visual Arts and Dutch (my native language).
Quick, efficient, fun! I pretty much have a no-nonsense approach: why waste time when time can be used productively? I expect my students to work hard and get results, but within a healthy and respectful atmosphere. There always has to be an element of fun to learning, no matter how "serious" or "difficult" a concept may be. I love introducing game elements into my teaching. I'm a big fan of multiple intelligences theory, and have adopted many thoughts and ideas of MI theory into my teaching over the last few years. It has delivered excellent results and I continue to learn more about it every day.

I have two beautiful children, who enjoy learning as much as I love teaching. I speak Dutch, French and English fluently, and have some knowledge of German and Portuguese as well. I play the flute and the bassoon and love performing with my ensemble, arranging music for various instrumental combinations, and simply listening to good music of all genres. I enjoy learning new languages, cooking, travelling, creating teaching resources, and gardening, and I have a passion for all things related to aviation.
