TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Yet to be added

MY TEACHING STYLE

I teach private and group music lessons for violin, viola, and piano. For violin and viola, I use the Suzuki method with supplements--my strength is teaching sight reading, and sight reading materials are what I will focus on most. For piano, I tailor the curriculum to fit the student. I prefer the Faber & Faber piano books for younger students, but for older beginners I make a custom curriculum just for them.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I play four instruments: violin, viola, piano, and guitar. I'm also a vocalist with an emphasis in choral music. I'm a lifelong learner who lives for the "aha" moments--both for me and for my students!
