TEACHING EXPERIENCE

My teaching career spans over 20 years and I have taught students from kindergarten to grade 6. Early in my career, I worked at a small rural school where I faced the challenge of teaching multiple grades in my classroom which also included many special education students. Later on, I taught in larger city schools and focused on special education and ESL students. I discovered early on the joy and satisfaction of creating effective and motivating programs to meet the needs of my students and help them to succeed.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love developing fun and engaging programs for my early readers. I introduce the skills gradually and systematically and reinforce these skills using a variety of activities, games and puzzles which help them develop into fluent and confident readers.
