TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have over ten years of experience teaching and tutoring students in grades K-8. My early years in the classroom were as a middle school Language Arts and Reading teacher. When I moved into a position as a Reading and Writing Specialist, my passion for intervention took hold. I was drawn to resource work and sought out Orton-Gillingham training. I now work with students in both one-on-one and small group intervention settings, and love what I do!

MY TEACHING STYLE

My style is very hands-on and active. I believe that students learn best through multi-sensory experience, and endeavor to integrate visual, auditory, kinesthetic and tactile components into all my lessons.
