I have spent the last ten years with the Orange County Department of Education as part of the Alternative, Community, and Correctional Education Schools and Services (ACCESS) program. As a program supervisor, I work with tutors that provide supplementary academic assistance for at-risk youth (ages 5 to 18) residing in Orange County group homes, attending community schools and housed in juvenile detention facilities. The most challenging but rewarding population!
Using highly engaging and fun activities to establish trust and build student self-confidence. Reigniting curiosity and the love of learning.

Blessed to work with the most creative and resilient students around and then come home to a loving husband and beautiful baby boy.
