As professional development coordinator for Ag Teachers in Iowa, Author Eldon Weber (ISU Dept. Ad Ed & Studies) created the program to attract kids to the agriculture/food literacy program through pizza, a favorite food of most kids. Over 6,000 kids and 1,000 team created pizzas and their teachers help further develop the program in the Cedar Rapids and Quad Cities areas over a 15 year period
