I grew up as a Third Culture Kid living in Kenya, Tanzania, Lesotho, Ireland, England and Spain. I am now living and teaching in Thailand. I have mainly worked in British International schools specialising in the Early Years. I am currently an FS3 Year Leader. My upbringing has a lot to do with the great interest I have in learning and teaching about different cultures. Having been brought up speaking 3 languages I am very mindful of the way children learn a second language.
Play based with a balance between child and teacher initiated activities. Creative with lots of role play and storytelling.

I love storytelling, that is my passion. I am learning to illustrate my own stories as I love to use books in my lessons, visual aids really help children grasp concepts and enhance their speech and language skills. I often illustrate little books to make it more meaningful to the children using visual aids that they can all relate to. PJs was created by my best friend Jessica and I when we wrote our first book “Not Quite the Usual Setup” available on Amazon. Jessica is the illustrator and I am sure that when she is ready and her lovely 3 children are older she will join me in creating her amazing illustrations and resources at TpT.
