TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been a teacher for 14 years in the inner-city of Los Angeles. I have taught kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 4th, 6-8. I have also been a curriculum specialist in math, ELA and ELD; a director of English Language Learner Services; an elementary principal and middle school vice principal. My students are English language learners or those who struggle with math and ELA. I have been a Professional Development Provider through University of California Irvine for 11 years, where I work with 1000s of teachers throughout California. In addition, I have been a professor at several major universities where I teach teachers, write curriculum and courses, and work as a full time mentor for students and faculty.
