Hi there! I am a busy mom to three boys. I began teaching shortly after my twins were born, working as an aide in special education classrooms. I have thoroughly enjoyed working in the schools and have had a variety of experiences working with grades PK - 5th as well as 9 - 12. Currently, I teach SPED grades 4th and 5th at a rural Title I school in beautiful Virginia. I love adapting ideas from others, or ones I find on Pinterest and adding my own creative flair to them.

"Shining Moment"... helping one of my first non-verbal students go from stamping their name on papers, to writing it. It was an incredible moment that brought me to tears when I saw the pride in her eyes as she truly 'lit up'.
I received my B.A. from Longwood University in Farmville, VA. Go Lancers!! I'm currently working towards my M.A.T. at Liberty University.
When I'm not herding cats (at home and school), I enjoy cooking, kayaking, diving, painting, reading, card making and general craftiness. I also know that I wouldn't be able to do any of what I do if it weren't for God and His son, Jesus Christ. If you don't know Him personally, or would like to know Him better, I'd be more than happy to introduce you ♥ Being Saved by God's Mercy is as Easy as ABC... A- Accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, he will never leave you or forsake you. (Read John 3:16, Deuteronomy 31:6) B- Believe that He died for your sins. All of them. Yes, you read that right. All of them. (Romans 4:25) C- Confess your sins and enjoy the peace of knowing that you are forgiven and loved more than you could ever imagine.
