I am a speech language pathologist who loves to utillize music for improving language skills, including social skills, phonological awareness, semantics, story grammar, etc. etc.
I tend to think and teach very holistically.
Summa cum laude graduate of Brigham Young University Thesis published in Journal of Speech, Language, and Hearing Research Students have won the poetry division of the Better Speech and Hearing Month contest
I was thrilled to get my BS and MS in speech and language pathlogy when I realized I would be poised to help children learn about some things I love when I did so: I love words and being creative with workds.
In addition to working as a speech and language pathologyst, I have also worked as a co-starring actor in independent film in Utah, have produced musical performance art in theaters in New York City, and have learned enough about American Sign Language to produce several music and sign langauge themed pieces of performance art.
