TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for 10 years, 5 of those in a traditional brick and mortar setting in 2nd grade, and 5 years in online education, in grades K, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. I am currently the K through 3rd literacy specialist for an online school in Nevada.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I teach virtually at a K 12 online school. I am a reading specialist for 3rd grade students at our school. I teach my students close reading and comprehension strategies through the Common Core State Standards.
