I have a masters' degree in US history and I am in my second year of teaching survey level college courses.
I believe in challenging students beyond what they feel they are capable of, but I also believe in guiding them through the process of learning by making material interesting, interactive, and important. My goal is to show them why history matters, and in so doing, inspire a desire to learn. While I demand excellence from my students, I also demand excellence from myself when it come to preparation and in-class interactions.
