TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Thirteen years as a certified classroom teacher, ten years teaching U.S. History/ AP US History, three years teaching World History. Nationally Board Certified Teacher and former Curriculum Specialist.

MY TEACHING STYLE

A practical approach to teaching, these lessons and activities are designed for whole group, small groups, and individuals. Information is provided by using text, primary, and secondary sources to allow students to form their own conclusions. Visual use of PowerPoint presentations (often with videos implemented) help those who learn best visually.
