TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been working in the public school system for the past six years and plan to continue on! I have been fortunate enough to work with a mostly ESOL based population. My ELL babies have a special place in my heart! I also have some experience with Early Steps and providing early intervention to the 1-3 year old population.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love incorporating sensory activities and materials in to my therapy sessions. I also believe in the power of visual aids and know that they benefit more than just special education or ELL students.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Nominated for DCPS Susan Fullar SLP of the Year Award

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I received my undergraduate degree at Florida State University. I earned a B.A in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor degree in Family and Child Sciences. I was fortunate enough to earn my master's degree at my alma mater, Florida State. I am currently nearing the end of my CFY and excitedly look forward to receiving my CCCs!
