In my experiences thus far I have had the great privilege of working with students ranging in age from infant to young adult, and have loved every moment in each capacity. With this in mind, I have found the perfect amalgamation of my pedagogical passions working in a lab school as a toddler teacher as well as a mentor teacher for college students studying early childhood education. I love my job, and am inspired by my students every day, both young and old(er).
Following my work as a high school English teacher (which I LOVED), my introduction into early childhood was spent in a Reggio Emilia-inspired school where I found my love of teaching young learners. In the years that followed I have had the great privilege of serving as a Kindergarten Teacher as well as an Academic Director before reentering the classroom as a preschool teacher in the toddler classroom where I now explore and learn with my students each and every day.

When I am not teaching, planning, or exploring with my students (a rarity in an of itself) I enjoy cooking, reading, and being outdoors with my husband, Jim, and our fur babies, Edgar and Barley!
