I have been teaching Pre-Kindergarten for the past 11 years in a high quality Pre-Kindergarten program. Our program revolves around Hands on Learning for the children
HANDS ON! This is really on the only way to effectively teach 4 and 5 years old. They need to touch, smell, taste, hear, and see what they are learning about.
I have a masters degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education with an emphasis in technology.

I created "Virtual Mrs. Strength" to help in the classroom. Sometimes a teacher needs a helping hand. I use most of these lessons during arrival and snack time. This frees me up to speak to parents, greet children, clean tables and lay out snack. The great part is that the children are actively engaged and learning. Of course I make sure to follow up later on the lessons to make sure the children are comprehending what "Virtual Mrs. Strength" was teaching. ** Please excuse the country accent, I just can't help it. ** Please note that my videos are not perfect, if I make a mistake, I do not film again, I just correct myself and sometime do not catch it while taping. Real teachers do not have that option while teaching so I figured "Virtual Mrs. Strength" should be just a real teacher also and be allowed to make mistakes.
