My husband and I both teach at the high school level. I'm a year 3 photography and yearbook teacher and he's in year 11 of teaching social science (AP Human Geography and World History). We both have a Master's Degree in Education with a Specialization in Teaching.
We're both very hands-on and project-based. We both have a facilitator style of teaching.
Mr. Presser received the National Geographic Grosvenor Teacher Fellowship in 2015 and traveled to the Galapagos to conduct research and build lessons for his classroom.
We're both Riverside, CA natives and attended public school for K-12. I attended UC Riverside for my B.A. in Anthropology and completed my single subject credential and M.S. from Cal Baptist University. My husband received his B.A. in History from Cal Poly Pomona and his credential and Master's from National University.
The Pressers are foodies and travelers at heart. We're always planning our next trip, and being teachers allows us to take full advantage of the summers off! Together we've traveled to India, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Greece, Italy, France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, and Morocco!
