This is my ninth year in Special Education. I've spent 3 years teaching students with multiple disabilities from Kindergarten to Seventh Grade, and 1 year teaching students with Autism. I've spent the last 4 years as a Multiple Disabilities Supervisor for students K-23 all over the county I work in. It's been a learning curve for me, but a fun one! I enjoy helping new teachers navigate the field of special ed.
I'm very laid back. I love being organized. It is a skill that does not easily come to me though, so I work very hard at it. I try to make activities fun for my students and think that learning should be fun for everyone. If I'm not having fun, I know my students aren't having fun.

I have my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Ohio University. During my preschool student teaching at an MRDD preschool I fell in love with teaching children with special needs. I decided to obtain my Master's degree, which I received from Muskingum University in Special Education (Intervention Specialist). I have certificates to teach in K-3rd grade, K-12th Special Education, and an administrative license for Curriculum and Instruction.
