I am a Boston College grad who has taught in Boston Public Schools, including in first grade and a Sheltered English Immersion kindergarten class! I have also taught preschool for three years, third grade, and first grade at a private Catholic school! I have an SEI endorsement, a double BA in applied psychology and human development, and a minor in special education! I absolutely LOVE teaching, particularly in urban settings.Teaching is my passion, and I believe we are incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to help young learners develop into passionate students who KNOW they are capable of whatever they set their mind to!
I know that students learn best through active, meaningful experiences. I want to make learning FUN, so that students enjoy every second of it! I work to scaffold all activities to maintain a universal design for learning.
I graduated Cum Laude from the Boston College Lynch School of Education and I am part of the Donovan Urban Educators Program.
I attended high school in South Windsor, Connecticut and then pursued my BA in elementary education (1-6) and applied psychology and human development at Boston College. I am currently enrolled in the Boston College Lynch School of Education's Donovan Urban Educator's Masters Program.
Teaching is my PASSION! I love kids and I feel blessed to be able to work with them each and every day.
