It is important to foster an atmosphere to set students up for success. When opportunities for visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles are available for all concepts, this exposes all learners to the learning style conducive to them, as well as other styles. Offering students a combination of hands on learning, free choice, and technology offers a well rounded learning atmosphere for students to grow.

I have been an elementary teacher-librarian for over 5 years. In that time I’ve helped students with library skills, literacy skills and critical thinking skills. I was a classroom teacher for more than 12 years, mostly in the elementary world and a few years in the middle school world. I am also a homeschool mom of a severe food allergy child (with lots of family help). Now I’m her full time homeschool mom! I love to create materials that encourage critical thinking skills, foster a love of learning and provide minimal prep for teachers and homeschool parents. I've gone to so many other teachers during my career that have helped me streamline and target teaching skills and I look forward to doing that for you too!
