Hi there! Thanks so much for stopping by. I started teaching while I was still in college earning my degree. I became a substitute teacher at an elementary school in Downtown Miami and also did some intervention work for struggling readers. I then became an interventionist at a struggling middle school in Miami Dade County. While employed there, I also held a job as a tutor at Sylvan Learning Center and other independent tutoring companies. Once I graduated, I became a full time teacher and moved to Collier County where I know teach 10th grade English. I've been a full time teacher for three years and I've loved every minute!
I truly believe that all children are capable of learning and doing amazing things! As a teacher, I believe in using creative techniques to cater to my students needs. I also believe learning should be fun, insightful, and consistent. Teaching is my heart!
Highly Qualified State of Florida English 6-12
I attended Florida International University and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in English Literature. I'm currently studying Educational Leadership at Southeastern University.
I try to be very involved at my workplace. I'm a dance coach for our school dance team and Junior Class Sponsor for our student government. On my spare time I love to read new literature, travel, and buy all kinds of makeup!
