TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a certified school counselor (PK-12) in Georgia. I worked in middle and high schools for 15 years. In addition, I became a licensed professional counselor in GA in 2009. I have owned my own practice for 6 years, called Private Counseling, where I work one-on-one with adults and adolescents to manage anxiety, depression, anger, and relationship issues.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I use a holistic approach to counseling. I incorporate cognitive-behavioral therapy with psychoanalytical therapy. My goal is to understand what a person thinks and feels so I can help them change maladaptive thoughts and learn skills to improve their overall approach to life.
