TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have over forty years of experience related to analog and digital electrical design, computer and microprocessor-based product design, computer networking, information technology management and computer technology training. My career includes tenures with Texas Instruments, United Technologies, Westinghouse and the Pennsylvania State University. I have managed the design, configuration and administration of hundreds of client computers in both corporate and school district environments and have taught for over thirty-six years at the university level. Presently, I help educate corporate “information technology” personnel in the areas of computer networking, security, operating systems and project management.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am an experienced, dynamic instructor that uses a variety of teaching techniques to fulfill course objectives during classroom lectures and laboratories. As a dedicated educator, I have always maintained a good rapport with students and have the ability to transfer knowledge while sustaining student interest in the classroom. I have not only lectured on various technical subjects but have also developed courseware to accompany some of my lectures.
