MY TEACHING STYLE

Structured, organized, differentiated, relevant, authentic, and creative. Thematic units scaffold and loop linguistic topics. Assessments are traditional and performance-based. We personalize to make lasting connections, take risks in a low affective setting, work productively in groups, incorporate realia, consider multiple views/perspectives, and always have fun while learning.

Spanish is my passion, due primarily to close relationships with my Dominican mother and grandmother. I have traveled frequently to Santo Domingo and lived in Madrid. After stints in corporate finance and Latin American import-export world, I proudly pursue my life's mission of promoting global education.
