MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I attended Rutgers University where I received a BA in Spanish. I am currently enrolled in the MAT in Spanish at Rutgers. I have also spent time abroad studying in Salamanca, Spain. I also spent two years of high school studying Spanish in Dominican Republic (my parent's birthplace).

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

As a native speaker of Spanish, I take much pride in my culture and language. The two go hand in hand. Having spent much time traveling around the world as a flight attendant, I decided that planting my feet on the ground and giving back my many cultural experiences in the classroom is where I'd end up. My students and their success is built on accepting and celebrating their failures, and building their confidence.
