Kathi is a skilled coach, retired district literacy coach, staff developer, veteran teacher, elementary school counselor, experienced Reading Recovery interventionist, LLi interventionist, engaging presenter, valued trainer as well as a published author. She has conducted workshops for numerous school districts and at the community college level. Kathi brings a breadth of experience as she has taught and coached the writing units of study grades K-8 for over twenty years, worked with diverse populations in various school settings. She received extensive literacy and coaching training from Columbia University's Teacher College Reading and Writing Project. Kathi enjoys seeing the impact that explicit teaching and the workshop instructional model has on learners of all ages and loves helping create readers and writers for life!
