TEACHING EXPERIENCE

We're a team of friends with a passion for curriculum development. Jen is a former middle school teacher who is now a University professor and curriculum developer, James is a educational program manager with a special affinity for multiple intelligences, and Lex is a high school social studies teacher.

MY TEACHING STYLE

We use discovery and inquiry techniques to teach students. We love problem based learning, project based learning, and authentic activities!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Jennifer has developed several award-winning curriculum sets covering a variety of topics and provided profession development trainings to over 500 educators across the country. James and Lex are starting to follow in her footsteps by taking on PD trainings and curriculum development projects of their own.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Jennifer was a middle school teacher for a number of years before completing her PhD in Curriculum, Research, and Evaluation, where she met James and Lex. James studied engineering in college before joining the dark side and earning a Master's in curriculum development. He is now working on a PhD in Educational Psychology and managing a national education program. Lex has a degree in Psychology, and she is now student teaching in a high school social studies classroom while completing her Master's in teacher education.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

We work together to write curriculum professionally, but we're here to share our passion projects that won't quite fit inside our job description boxes.
