25-year firefighter paramedic who has spent the better part of 10 years teaching fire safety education to school children, adults and senior citizens as well as teaching emergency management and incident command classes to firefighters, professionals and volunteers. I have taught everything from firefighting techniques and survival skills to first aid & CPR to Community Emergency Response Team for volunteers and National Incident Management System training for public safety, law enforcement and fire service personnel.
I have a varied style that changes up based on the audience. I can use my skills as a Fire Safety Clown to teach children in a funny style that holds their attention and keeps them engaged to a serious discussion on survival to a humorous take on a topic to help with memory. I have no set lecturing style, as much as I enjoy a form of storytelling to get the point across.
