I have been teaching all areas of science for 11 years now with 5 years of middle school experience and 6 years alternative education experience. I have had the pleasure of teaching all grade levels 7-12 in all areas of the sciences as well as algebra and geometry topics.
I enjoy keeping my students busy with hands-on formative projects and labs as well as relevant science documentaries that are current and up to date with the information the present. Most students in an alternative education setting do not do well with traditional lecture style teaching and need to stay busy to keep their minds of off the troubles they have in their lives. They enjoy using technology and as the most helpful tool they have in their possession, I do everything I can to incorporate it daily.
