TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have had over 30 years experience in education. I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students. I am now an Instructional Coach that works with teachers in my school, PK through 5th grade, to provide professional development, improve instructional practices and increase student achievement.

MY TEACHING STYLE

It is important to me to create a positive, caring and nurturing classroom environment where student centered learning is the focus. I believe that hands-on, activity based, engaging work provides students with the building blocks to reach high levels of achievement. Building relationships, remaining enthusiastic and keeping the positive energy going is my goal each day.
