My name is Kathy Dahdal and I am an English Language Arts teacher with over 13 years of teaching experience in New York City public schools. I serve both middle and high school students of all identities and backgrounds in one of the most vibrant, diverse communities in New York City – the Bronx. I currently work at a school in the Bronx as a full-time English teacher and Peer Collaborative Teacher (PCT) where I both teach NYC middle school students as well as promote effective instructional practices that are beneficial for diverse groups of students. I lead a laboratory classroom, strategize for adult learning, lead ongoing professional learning to enhance teaching practices, and facilitate individual teacher development through focused coaching.
