I have been teaching for 23 years in the mitten state of Michigan. I am a hands-on teacher who loves for students to use inquiry skills for learning. Restorative Practices and Claim, Evidence, Reasoning are my forte! I am finding that students prefer "hands on" whether it is cut and paste, coloring, laboratories, talk moves, or technology. Research trends state that students are not able to stay focused as they once were, so we really need to make our lessons engaging.
Hands On, differentiated learning techniques and the use of technology are all important to me! I want to make sure my students are engaged in the learning. They are great multi-taskers.
