TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Currently, I teach Pre-AP English 2, AP English 3, and English 3. In the past, I have taught English 2 in an urban-suburban setting, English 1-4 in an alternative high school campus, and AP English 3 in a parochial high school.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My style of teaching relies heavily on encouraging students to make text-to-world, text-to-text, and text-to-music connections. I like to encourage the last one because I have found students make stronger connections when they link it to material in which they have an emotional investment.
