TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Entering my eighth year of teaching Algebra at the High School level. I am the Algebra Lead for the eighth year. I am the Math Coordinator of my high school for the seventh year.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am very consistent with my teaching. First I welcome my students to class. Next I go over any homework problems they may have. After that I start the PowerPoint. In the PowerPoint there are slides, for writing the heading of the day, a warm-up, notes, class work, summary, and finally a ticket out the door.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Graduated from Patrick Henry High School in 2002. Received a bachelors in Mathematics from San Diego State University in 2006. Received my teaching credential from San Diego State University in 2007. I have been teaching ever since.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I am just a regular teacher. However, I am the type that likes to "Reinvent the Wheel." If I find that the curriculum the textbook is offering does not meet the needs of my students, I then create my own curriculum which I share with you all in my TPT store.
