Post-Undergrad: Exercise physiologist and wellness advisor for a medically-based wellness center. I taught adults and children to make healthier choices and lead a more balanced and confident life. During grad school, I worked as a teacher's aide (experience in K, 1, 2, and 5 regular classroom and 5th grade special ed) as well as taught 2nd grade Spanish. My 3 1/2 month student teaching experience was with 1st grade. I couldn't have had more fun with that age group! For now, I'm working as a stay-at-home-mom and preschooling my daughter!
I like to do a little of everything! I love hands-on group activities but also believe students should be able to work independently. And I really like efficiency! You'll notice that most of my plans are cross-curricular. Why not work on reading comprehension and math measurement while learning about the Statue of Liberty?
