Ten years ago I started one of the greatest journeys in my life, teaching. Since second grade it was my dream to become a teacher and I am so blessed to be living that dream everyday! I have taught both first and second grade. Eight of my ten years were looping years. I start with a group of first graders and teach them first grade as well as second. This experience is so valuable and I love the opportunity of growing with my students for two full years. The hardest part is saying good-bye at the end of two years, tears flow freely that day. I have a passion for language arts and have spend the last two years team teaching with the best partner in the world. Having the responsibility of just language arts has been challenging but ever so rewarding.
