ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Born and raised in Belfast, Northern Ireland, lived in Glasgow, Scotland (1989-1999), moved to the U.S. in 1999. Lover of music, family and friends, and most of all Jesus Christ, my Saviour. I'm a "foodie" who loves experimental cooking, baking, and sampling multi-cultural cuisine. I also love to entertain, opening my home often for food/social gatherings. Teaching single gender ELA classes, particularly high-risk boys, is my passion. I constantly seek new, innovative, relevant ways to motivate my students to reach their highest potential and achieve greatest success. Teaching brings me incredible joy, and I can't believe I am paid to do what I love!
