TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Fall of 2013 marked the beginning of my 9th year teaching in the middle school. During that time I spent 2 1/2 years teaching Geography in the evenings at a local college. Trying to teach 12 year olds about the Ancient Greeks has been a challenge, but I LOVE IT!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I LOVE using interactive notebooks with my 7th graders. I get so much more out of them and they are thinking about their learning in new and different ways. I'm pushing more and more to be the Guide on the Side rather than the Sage on the Stage.
