TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been happily teaching 8th grade U.S. History since 2012. I have served as a grade-level team lead since 2012, and as the social studies department chair since 2015. At the district-level, I have been assisting with curriculum-writing since 2014, across the social studies disciplines, but with a focus in U.S. History. I have also led a variety of professional development sessions at both the campus- and district-levels, typically centered around differentiation and technology integration. This summer I will also be presenting to colleagues from around the district regarding test-taking strategies and think-alouds.
