TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching middle school for the last 9 years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

For my first six years of my career, I used lessons that mimic my experience as an art student growing up. Sure, student quality was high however, I felt unfilled with the creative output. So I made the switch and never looked back! For the last 3 years, I've been using and developing a FULL choice-based curriculum. I believe that choice-based art education, in all its forms, will continue disrupt art education culture by allowing an environment for students to explore their personal passions, experiment with new materials, and innovate without teacher restrictions.
