I've taught and been an instructional assistant in multiple schools over the years including spending 2 years at a missionary school in Tokyo, Japan. I've spent the majority of my time in 4th and 5th grade, but I've also spent time in every other grade from k-8.
I love using technology, arts, and languages in my teaching. I often teach my students Japanese, sign language, and Spanish from my limited knowledge to help keep them engaged and for a more rounded knowledge of vocabulary. I'm currently studying gamification and am piloting it in my class this year.
