TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I currently have eight years of experience working in education. I worked two years as a middle school art teacher, after which I spent two years as a Library Assistant while I worked on my graduate degree. I am currently in my fourth year of school librarianship and I am so grateful for every single day.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My focus is to eliminate as many worksheet activities as possible and instead to incorporate hands on activities using things like graphic organizers, green screen, makerspace building and art. I believe students should build, create, and grow with interactive lessons. Follow me on Twitter @WindcrestLib for more information.
