TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 15th year teaching! Boy does time fly! I spent 7 years teaching 5th grade in a wonderful TITLE I school. During my time there I was encouraged by my principal to seek my gifted endorsement. With two gifted children at home, I completed my endorsement and I haven't looked back! I taught 5th grade Honors Reading for 5 of my 7 years at the TITLE I school. I am now a Gifted Specialist at a middle-income school. I teach Honors Reading and Math to 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. In addition, I supply support to the school's gifted cluster teachers.
