I try to address all learning styles and make learning fun.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Here's some feedback on my Inference Task Cards. "I've bought lots of task cards and other products from TPT for years, and this is the BEST product in my opinion for task cards. LOVE it. I will definitely be back for more. I'm so glad that I found your products! Using tomorrow".

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Certifications: Elementary Reading, Math and Social Studies 1-8; Special Ed, ESL, Mid-Mgmt. 1-12

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

My children's book series called "Randy Bamboo" was originally set to be named after my brother Jason. But "Jason Bamboo" wasn't quite as catchy. My original lessons include... 1. Bamboo Air -- The assignment turns into a paper airplane. 2. Big Eye Math -- The student manipulates the assignment around as they work problems and record their answers on a flip-up feature. 3. Comic Reader Series - 4 panel cartoons with handy flip-up/down comprehension questions. 4. Daily Test Prep - Comprehension questions similar to those on the standardized tests. 5. Roll Cards (Social Studies so far) Students hold modified flashcards in their hand like they are playing cards and take turns guessing definitions until you have a winner. I have written several educational cartoons at randybamboo on youtube (go to oldest videos).
