Over 3 years of classroom experience and 5 years of homeschool teaching experience. I have taught 2nd-grade Mathematics through Algebra 1. The math classes I taught were combined; 2nd-4th, 5th-6th, 7th-8th. What an experience! I have also taught 5th-6th grade Reading, Art and Social Studies. Also 7th-8th Social Studies. All in the same year if you were wondering.

I am a 6th year homeschooling mother. My daughter is in 12th grade. ❁ Something most people don't know about me is that I have a strange need to constantly educate myself. It is constant! I think I am starting to annoy people when I talk. It must be a teacher thing? ❁ I have a whole farm of animals that keep my family busy most days. ❁ I don't like pumpkin spice lattes (don't tell anyone). ❁ Anyhoo, I truly feel that I have learned a wealth of things from homeschooling my daughter that will help me when I am able to go back to teaching. For now, I love to share the things I make to other teachers. Sharing is caring!
