I have been chosen to represent Walnut Street Elementary in Toms River NJ on many different occasions for various workshops including: science curriculum meetings, social studies curriculum meetings, writer's workshops, and other various language arts workshops.
Structured, routine oriented, and high importance place on student motivation. Many of the lessons I create have a balance of high student motivation while at the same time being time appropriate for teachers to present. I am well aware that time is our most precious resource. My lessons focus on the main point and reinforce the skill in an organized fashion.
I am the recipient of the 10th Legislative Excellence in Education Award. It is a state award that recognizes contributions to education.
I have been a teach in Toms River N.J. for 7 years. I studied at Mount Saint Mary's in Emmitsburg, MD. I am currently working on my Masters in Educational Leadership at Kean University.
I am currently working very hard to add more visual appeal to my lessons. I am a talented illustrator and soon I will incorporate that as soon as I learn how. *Should you ever need something custom made, please do not hesitate to ask!
