MY TEACHING STYLE

WE ALL NEED MORE GENTLENESS AND UNDERSTANDING THAN WE GET, WE SOLVE THAT BY GIVING MORE GENTLENESS AND UNDERSTANDING THAN OTHERS APPEAR TO WANT-NEED-REQUEST [corollary: No one is as happy and confident as they pretend/project--especially ME]---------DO EDUCATE--DO NOT TEACH--------TEACHING/LEARNING is a transfer of INFORMATION; EDUCATING is transfer of responsibility for a shared WORLD------- I take this distinction seriously and I follow the 16 ways educating differs from teaching in Hannah Arendt's work-----------I always work the most elite place and the least elite place in every city I live and work in ---"the intelligence of 99% of all ordinary humans is vastly MORE than the highest of high technologies and most complex of complex thoughts REQUIRE ----STRUCTURAL COGNITION--apply ordinary mental operators to dozens of ideas at a time instead of to 7 to 12 at a time as Harvard-MIT professors do---the frontier for vast increases in mental performance is open and just needs those willing to aim for performance far above levels set by Harvard-Stanford and other so-called elite places.
