TEACHING EXPERIENCE

9th Grade Literature & Composition, Honors 10th Grade World Literature, On-Level 10th Grade World Literature, AP Literature & Composition, High School Writing Center Co-Director

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in the importance of the classroom community - especially in the English/Literature classroom. Students have to first feel comfortable and encouraged before we can ask them to share their writing or their thoughts on serious issues found in the literature we read. My students write every day, discuss, read, and write some more.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I'm in my third year of teaching high school English, and I love it! When I'm not teaching, preparing lessons, or grading papers, you can find me spending time with my husband and our children, traveling, or exploring outdoors. Iced coffee, visiting museums, and audiobooking on long drives bring me joy. I hope you enjoy my TpT store and find exactly what you need here!
