I have been teaching second grade in Massachusetts for 20 years (how time flies) and have my Reading Specialist M.Ed. I have been spending time creating new games and activities for language arts and math. I have gotten more interesting in digital learning and you can see some of my digital resources here on TPT. I also love teaching science and social studies and recently started creating resources in those areas. One of my favorite books is "Math Curse". I have a blog called Reading and Writing Redhead.
My goal is to meet the needs of all students by differentiation and keep them engaged with interesting, valuable, and fun lessons!

Attended Colby College in Maine, then got my M.Ed in elementary education from Lesley University and then my M.Ed in reading specialist from UMass Lowell.
I grew up in a family with quite a few police officers and teachers. My brother and I are one of each. My aunt and two of my cousins are teachers. They all have inspired me in their own way! I love giant dogs, especially Saint Bernards. I love sweets (watch out if you have Brigham's chocolate ice cream) and reading. My favorite children's books include the Ramona Series (esp. Ramona the Pest) and Alexander and the No Good, Terrible, Horrible, Very Bad Day.
